Rosalia is a consent educator and child sexual abuse prevention specialist, sexual literacy advocate, rape culture disruptor, 2x TEDx speaker, Chair of SAGE (Survivor Advocates Globally Empowered) representing the BRAVE Movement, the founder of CONSENTparenting™, the host of the AboutCONSENT™ podcast, and creator of CONSENTwear™. She is also a child sexual abuse survivor and thriver.
Rosalia is certified in the Canadian Centre for Child Protection® COMMIT TO KIDS® Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training Program and is a Certified Facilitator of the Stewards Of Children® Training by Darkness to Light, as well as OnWatch™.
In 2021 and 2022 she spoke at TEDxOneonta on the topic of dismantling rape culture (2021) and teaching kids and adults consent education (2022), as well as at the well-recognized yearly industry conference, IGNITE by Darkness to Light on the topic of survivor/trauma-informed abuse prevention education.
She has been featured on MSNBC, CNN, FOX, CTV News, Univision, Telemundo ABC7, as well as Parents Magazine, LiveWell Mind and Thrive Global. Rosalia has also published articles for BoldLatina and Motherly.
Although Rosalia was born in El Salvador and grew up in NY, she now resides in British Columbia, Canada.
